Dirleton Links

Dirleton Links is rugged, resolutely Scottish and known famously as a golfer’s golf course. Since the 15th century, golf has been played on the land at Archerfield, so the ground is truly steeped in the game.

The magnificent 17th century Archerfield House provides a majestic backdrop to Dirleton Links, adding to the unique historic spirit of the course. Challenging to play for all the right reasons, Dirleton calls for eagle-eyed accuracy, with gorse, bunkers, ditches and burns all.

The not overly long par fives make life a little easier but anything astray on the back nine especially will cost you strokes. Hit it nicely though, and the perfect greens are an absolute joy to putt on, with the thought of a dram at the Clubhouse or something more substantial, the perfect end to your round.
